Captain Mike Pastore has over 25 years of experience and has spent thousands of hours on Lake Ontario. He has appeared in numerous national and regional publications including Field & Stream, Outdoor Life and New York Sportsman, just to name a few. He also has a long list of accomplishments to his credit:

* Over 60 Derby prize winning fish taken aboard the Rodmaster (8 of them in the 2000 season alone!)
* 1st Place in the prestigious Lake Ontario Pro-Am Salmon Team Tournament, as well as placings in the top 10 in the majority of all tournaments he's ever fished.
* "U.S. Sportsmans' Book of Records" record holder for the fastest 3 man limit of trout and salmon - 15 in 60 minutes!
* Master Angler Award Winner - In Fisherman Magazine
* Capt. Mike is a member of the Norther King Lures Pro Staff, and is associated with Shakespeare Tackle, Scotty Downrigger Pro Staff and many other quality tackle manufacturers.
* Not only is Capt. Mike a conservationist committed to a quality lake fishery and a vibrant Great Lakes Ecosystem, he is also an avid hunter and is actively involved in and donates to quality conservation groups such as The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, The International Game Fish Association, Ducks Unlimited and the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep.
