We've added an exciting new fishing adventure for 2010 --

Freshwater Striper Fishing in North Carolina!
Return to Rodmaster Home North Carolina Map Striped Bass
Striper

We are currently fishing on Badin Lake, which is located just south of the Winston-Salem and Greensboro areas.

There's no snow here!

Although the whole country has been dealing with unseasonable weather, we are far enough south to provide spring-like conditions.Temperatures are currently in the 45 to 55 degree range with plenty of sunshine.

Experience Badin Lake's incredible fishery while also enjoying the beautiful scenery of the surrounding Uwharrie National Forest. Winter is actually the best time to see Trophy Stripers, with 20 lb. plus fish not uncommon. In addition to the Striper action, Trophy Bass and Catfish are also available on Badin Lake. This is part of the same water system as High Rock Lake, which Bass enthusiasts know for having hosted the Bassmasters Classic Tournament in 1994, 1995, 1997 and as recently as 2007.

Our trips here are aboard the Rodmaster II, our fully equipped Bass-Pro style vessel, the same one that we use for our casting trips in New York State for Bass, Pike, Walleye and Muskie. In addition to Capt. Mike's US Coast Guard and NYS Guiding licenses, he is also a North Carolina licensed Guide.  You are assured a safe, successful and enjoyable fishing experience!

These trips are for a limited time during the months of February and March 2010! We still have availability, but don't miss out on the action!  Call or email us now for more information or to reserve your date! (315) 524-4313 or captmike@rodmastercharters.com.
